National Gender and Equality Commission has exposed sharp inequalities affecting Kenya’s most vulnerable communities from barriers to green energy access to obstacles that continue to push girls out of school in marginalized counties. Four reports launched by the commission paint a picture of gaps in girls’ education and disturbing effects of gender-based violence response. The commission is also appealing for collaboration to ensure girls, women, children, persons with disabilities, minorities and marginalized groups are fully included in development.
