Kenyans urged to expect heavy rains, strong winds in the coming week

The weatherman has issued an alert of the possibility of heavy rains across various parts of the country accompanied by strong winds. Coast residents and individuals involved in marine activities in the Indian Ocean, have been advised to stay alert and take maximum precautions. Strong winds exceeding 25 knots are expected on Monday and Tuesday in the coastal region, as a result of cyclone Chenge which according to the forecast, will weaken and dissipate near the coasts of southern Kenya and Tanzania by Tuesday.
