Principal Administrative Secretary in the Office of the President, Arthur Osiya, has criticized Busia County leadership for poor service delivery. His remarks come days after the county was questioned by the Senate Mashinani team over alleged graft and misuse of funds. Speaking after meeting a section of teachers in Butula Constituency, Osiya says key sectors like health and education are in bad shape, therefore forcing residents to seek services in neighboring counties. In response, Education County Executive Committee Member for Education and Vocational Training, Beatrice Nakholi, says the county is addressing the challenges and has introduced a digital program in the Early Childhood Development Education ECDE centers.
