Nairobi’s central business district remained deserted for the better part of Friday with several businesses closing for today’s public holiday in honor of the late honorable Raila Odinga. Mourners continued streaming into the stadium even after the event had kicked off to bid the former prime minister farewell. Many others were left outside when the venue was full.
