The government has been urged to review the operations of the Social Health Authority by ensuring timely disbursement of funds to provide reliable healthcare, particularly to vulnerable groups like the elderly and persons with disabilities .The call comes amid growing concerns that some citizens are avoiding hospitals due to inefficiencies within the new health scheme. During a free medical camp and food donation drive organized by the Alekas Foundation at Gitweku Primary School in Kiharu, Murang’a County, stakeholders decried delayed or non-payment of medical bills by the Social Health Authority.
