Hundreds of mourners in Nairobi pour onto the streets to mourn Raila Odinga

Business came to a near standstill in Nairobi Central Business District on Wednesday as hundreds of mourners poured onto the streets following the news of the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Among those on the streets were residents from Kibera informal settlement, where Odinga served as a member of parliament in his earlier political days. They marched from Kibera into down causing traffic disruptions. They eulogized him as a defender of human and social rights and a leader who was a unifying factor.
