Young men drawn from Nairobi's Baba Dogo area have benefited from an empowerment program which aims to equip young people with hands-on skills, in areas such as photography, hairdressing, sewing, and bakery. The initiative seeks to promote self-reliance and economic empowerment among young people especially in informal settlements.
