ODM Central Committee endorses Oburu Odinga as the party leader

Orange Democratic Movement's top organ Central Management Committee has endorsed Oburu Oginga as the new party leader following the death of his brother Raila Odinga that occurred on 15th October in India. The meeting that Oburu chaired for the first time since his appointment, also called on the government to release political party funds owed in billions to the party. It also resolved to celebrate ODM at 20 years in November as earlier planned.
