Stakeholders in the health sector have emphasized the need for Kenya to leverage digital healthcare and artificial intelligence innovations as part of efforts to close gaps which hamper the delivery of quality healthcare to rural and underserved communities. Speaking during the World Health Expo (WHX) 2025 conference health in Nairobi, the expo Sales Director Shane Fleming termed Digital healthcare as the next big thing, adding that the new technology now allows medical testing to be done in remote areas, with real-time results transmitted directly to doctors, improving diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
