Kenya National Private Security Workers Union- KNPSWU has refuted claims by the Private Security Regulatory Authority PSRA that there's a looming lay offs of security guards in some companies. KNPSWU secretary general Isaac Andabwa challenged PSRA to stick to its mandate of regulating the industry instead of creating tension to security guards. Andabwa further urged the ministry of labour to fast track the pending salary increments of security guards as discussed earlier of 30,000 shillings minimum wage.
