Barely two weeks after President William Ruto signed the tax law amendment bill into law, the Kenya Revenue Authority has today announced adjustments in excise duty cutting across imported commodities starting December 27, 2024. The effects of the adjustment is expected to be felt by consumers who are expected to pay more for the commodities.
