Ten people have today lost their lives in a tragic road accident that involved a public service vehicle and a lorry at chemosit area Soy in Uasin Gishu county. According to the Uasin Gishu police commander Benjamin Mwanthi, the ill-fated shuttle was carrying 15 passengers headed for Nairobi after the Christmas festivities and only five people survived including four children. The driver of the lorry fled after the accident and police have launched a manhunt as survivors continue to receive treatment at the Moi Teaching and referral hospital.
