Allies of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua are now demanding the constitution of a commission of inquiry to look into the abduction of dissenting voices in recent weeks. The leaders have laid blame squarely on President Willaim Ruto, accusing his administration of sponsoring a criminal gang to terorize those opposed to his regime. Their sentiments come barely a few days after Rigathi Gachagua claimed the government was all out to neutralize his influence in Mt. Kenya using criminal gangs.
