A section of cancer patients hail the Social Health Authority

A section of cancer patients undergoing treatment through the Social Health Authority (SHA) have given their accounts of successful health coverage through the new system even as other Kenyans tell of different experiences. Several patients and relatives interviewed at Kenyatta University Teaching Research and Referral Hospital KUTRRH said their medical charges have been met by the Authority in time, saving them money they would otherwise have spent if the expenses were to be paid out of pocket.
