The Media Council of Kenya, MCK is proposing the formulation of a curriculum which will support capacity building for news editors and sub-editors to enhance the quality of content for news bulletins. Speaking during the launch of this year’s Annual Journalism Excellence awards in Nairobi, MCK Chief Executive Officer David Omwoyo decried what he termed the increasing number of news stories which do not meet the set ethical standards.
