Residents say accessing government offices has been a nightmare

Residents of Gazi location in Kwale County have called on the government to hasten the process of hiring a chief for the area. The residents say they have been having a lot of trouble accessing essential government services forcing them to go to the Kinondo location. The office of the Gazi chief was built in the 2016 and 2017 financial years but it is yet to be occupied eight years later. The residents further argue that the public land on which the chief's office was built is facing land-grabbing threats due to delays in appointing a chief.
