M23 rebels continue to overrun DRC Gov’t troops in Goma for third day

The escalating conflict in Goma, Eastern DRC could adversely affect Kenya’s economy if not quickly resolved. Speaking in a phone interview with the KBC TV news desk, foreign policy analyst Gordon K’achola cautioned that the Kenyas’ resources could be further stretched by an upsurge in refugees flocking the country from DRC. This was as M23 rebels continued to battle DRC troops in Goma for the third in a row.
