Rais William Ruto amezindua rasmi mradi wa uunganishaji umeme wa Last Mile utakaogharimu shilingi bilioni 1.8 katika eneo la Sabaki , kaunti ya Kilifi. Mradi huo ambao unatarajiwa kunufaisha zaidi ya familia 20,000, ni mojawapo ya jitihada za serikali za kuimarisha miundo-mbinu , ukuaji wa viwanda na kubuni ajira katika eneo hilo. Akiongea wakati wa uzinduzi wa mradi huo katika kaunti ndogo ya Magarini, Rais Ruto alisisitiza umuhimu wa kupanua uunganishaji umeme katika eneo hilo, akisema mpango huo utaimarisha usambazaji umeme na kuvutia uwekezaji katika sekta ya viwanda,hoteli, pamoja na biashara katika kaunti ya Kilifi.
