A section of leaders from Samburu County are raising concerns over increased cases of insecurity in the area. Led by Nominated Senator Hezena Lemaletian, the leaders have called on the Ministry of Interior to crack hard on cattle rustling menace and restore stability in the restive region for the sake of development. The leaders further urged the government to provide an update on the progress of investigations on the criminal incidents including any arrest made and those arraigned in court. This even as they called on the government to increase the number of security personnel to effectively combat violent crimes and provide a long lasting solution to curb the increasing cases of robberies, business attacks, and other criminal activities.
