Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza has been sent packing by a Milimani High Court in Nairobi. This is after Justice Bahati Mwamuye, in a ruling on Friday affirmed the Senate’s decision, which had earlier upheld her impeachment by the Meru County Assembly over allegations of gross misconduct, abuse of office, and violation of the Constitution. The governor's option now remains to appeal the decision at the Appellate Court.
