The Government has enacted stringent guidelines aimed at curbing cases of abuse of Kenyans employed in foreign nations. Labour and Skills Development Principal Secretary Shadrack Mwadime says the government is further dispatching labour attaches to every nation to ensure the rights of Kenyans are safeguarded. Speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport when he flagged off 15 Kenyans headed to Oman for employment, Mwadime said the move was informed by emerging complaints by a section of Kenyans, who in recent years claimed to be mistreated by their respective employers, especially in the Middle East.
