Police ambushed and managed to repulse suspected bandits who had raided a homestead in Loruk area in Baringo County. The officers recovered stolen livestock, including 47 cows and over 250 goats. The bandits estimated to be over 20 were overpowered by the officers following a fierce encounter. This is the third attempt that has been foiled by police in a span of one month. Recently, one person was shot dead in Ngaratuko area following an attempted raid.
