A section of residents from Kyeleni and Donyo Sabuk areas in Matungulu Sub County, Machakos County staged a protest today voicing their frustration over what they perceived as neglect by the Machakos County Government claiming that no development had been undertaken in the area. The protest grew so intense that police officers from the Donyo Sabuk police station were forced to retreat to their station after being overwhelmed by the large crowd of angry demonstrators.
