Fourteen candidates who were set to sit this years Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) have passed away in a landslide, which claimed a total of 26 lives in Marakwet East, Elgeyo Marakwet County. Meanwhile, several female candidates are sitting the 2025 KCSE examinations in hospitals after giving birth. Elsewhere, an examination centre manager overseeing the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations has been dismissed in Narok County for allegedly violating Kenya National Examinations Council regulations.
