More than 5,000 residents of Kyome Thaana Ward in Mwingi West, Kitui County, are set to benefit from the rehabilitation of a Colonial Earth Dam that will enhance access to clean water.The Thokoa Earth Dam, which was last desilted 12 years ago, had become clogged, forcing locals to trek long distances in search of water.
