A section of women leaders are pushing for strengthening of the law to include cyber bullying as a form of gender based violence. In a women’s meeting held in Nairobi ahead of International Women’s day, the leaders say a majority of women are victims of cyber bullying limiting their opportunities to engage online. They are now calling for punitive laws to ensure the digital streets are a safe space for all users.
