Most towns in Baringo south constituency have now been connected to the national electricity grid, thanks to an initiative by the local member of parliament Florence Jematia. The powering of the constituency has brought to life most villages with businesses now operating until late into the night. The connection of the villages to power is also set to reduce crime cases and improve performance in schools and children will now have the opportunity to hold night preps.
