The whole country, except for the coastal region and North Eastern counties, is expected to receive heavy rainfall beginning today. In an advisory, the Kenya Meteorological Department says the heavy rainfall of over 20 millimetres is expected in the Lake Basin region, Highlands West and East of the Rift Valley, including the Nairobi area.
