DCI detective arrest five suspects in connection with SHA funds theft

Five suspects have been arrested in connection with an alleged theft of funds at the Social Health Authority. In a statement released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation on Friday, the suspects will be arraigned on Monday. The DCI says it received 1,188 files from the Social Health Authority and the Kenya Medical Practitioners on 1st September, 2025, on individuals, organisations and various parties alleged to be involved in the fraud. DCI further stated that the files are at various stages of investigation, and efforts to apprehend additional suspects are underway.
