President William Ruto has pledged to support the over 40,000 households affected by floods in the country with ksh 10,000 each for three months. According to the president further, affected families will be given priority in the allocation of 20,000 affordable housing units, in addition to a cash injection of kshs 1 billion for the construction of new schools and classrooms in Nairobi affected by floods.
