The United Democratic Alliance party nominated member of Meru County Assembly who is also the Deputy Majority Party Leader Zipporah Kinya has withdrawn the notice of motion for the dismissal of Governor Kawira Mwangaza, to give room for the resolution of accusations leveled against her by the Njuri Ncheke Council of Elders. This development comes even as reports indicate that the Njuri Ncheke has declined an earlier court request to handle the ouster motion citing that they lack jurisdiction as they only handle civil matters and not constitutional matters.
