Parents in Samburu County have been urged to embrace education to eradicate outlawed cultures in the region such as child marriages and Female Genital Mutilation.Speaking during the delivery of school uniforms and learning essentials to Nkeisioni Primary School in Olbiroi in Samburu North by donors among them World Vision, parents were encouraged to support the academic ambitions of their children . However, a section of parents cited poverty as the main reason learners drop out of school.
