Education CS optimistic about ending lecturers’ strike

Education CS Julius Migos Ogamba has expressed hope that the lecturers’ strike will end within the week. Ogamba says the ongoing talks between striking lecturers and the government is close to bearing fruits. The salaries and remuneration commission has offered lecturers KSh 7.2 billion against their demand of KSh 7.9 billion as arrears for the 2017–2021 CBA.
