Miss SA Mia le Roux: 'No-one deserves to be bullied' - BBC Africa
Mia le Roux became the first deaf woman to be crowned Miss South Africa. "It wasn't just me that won that night, but anyone who has felt different," she told the BBC. The pageant was a divisive one which saw one finalist withdraw after being trolled over her Nigerian heritage. The winner displayed solidarity towards Chidimma Adetshina, her former rival.
