This follows the passing of by-laws restricting littering to keep major towns clean as well as the entire county.Speaking in Kabarnet town during a cleanup exercise, Lands and Urban Planning County Executive committee member Reuben Ruto noted that county will provide receptacles for waste collections in estates and towns that will help in avoiding careless littering. Sentiments echoed by the chief officer for Environment, Silas Kwonyike who emphasized the need to employ more staff to help clean the towns. The cleanup exercise initiative was spearheaded by Ebenezer Academy and Hampert Church from Korea.
