Basket weaving is one art women from the Kamba region are well known for. However, for a group of them in Katangi in Yatta Sub County in Machakos County, their lives have changed for the better through the mastery of this art and crowned with some business acumen facilitated by a local non-governmental organization. Our reporter Christine Matunda reports on how a rather traditional practice is making inroads to international markets.
