Tension is high at Akila Ng'ondu village in Igembe North sub-county, Meru County after an elderly man was attacked and killed by an elephant on Friday morning. According to the residents, the deceased identified as Kimani Ntoithabu was attacked by marauding elephants from Meru National Park at around 9am.
