A 40-year-old woman from Omboga village in Kanyaluo, Karachuonyo constituency, has been forced out of her home, driven by traditional beliefs that require first-born daughters to make way for their younger siblings to get married.The woman, Rose Achieng', has been living with a disability since the age of eight after contracting polio. Despite her physical limitations, Achieng' has faced the harsh reality of being pushed out of her home due to these deep-seated cultural practices.
