The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has marked its 50th anniversary on World Standards Day, amid growing concerns over its role in ensuring product safety. Head of Public Service Felix Koskei sounded a warning to KEBS and other corporations over what he termed as corruption and laxity in the delivery of their duties, even as he assured the standards body that the government will look into their budget to enable them carry out their mandate.
