The Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary General Collins Oyuu has alleged corruption in the Teachers Service Commission pension department.Oyuu who was presiding over the unions Annual General Meeting at Gusii Stadium in Kisii county claimed the teachers were forced to part with an unspecified amount of money for them to receive their pension benefit, calling for disciplinary action against officers demanding bribes to do their job. He also called for the 46,000 teachers vacancies to be filled and any budgetary challenges be addressed later.
