Mandera County Government has initiated the augmentation and upgrading of the Banissa water supply system to enhance accessibility to clean water for domestic use. Mandera Governor Mohamed Adan Khalif says the project end the challenge of unreliable supply and quality of water and in effect free residents of Banisa from the threat of waterborne diseases. The water system upgrade is part of the county government's plan to improve the lives of residents.
