The government has confirmed that 14 learners lost their lives following the devastating floods in Elgeyo Marakwet County over the weekend. While expressing sorrow over the incident, which he termed unfortunate, Principal Secretary for Basic Education Julius Bitok, says adequate measures have been put in place to ensure no candidate misses their exams, despite challenges caused by heavy rains in several regions.
