On the education front, basic educations institutions are set to open for the 2025 academic year momnday for the first term after a two month-long holiday. Thousands of children whose schools were blacklisted over safety concerns on their boarding sections risk missing places, or may be forced to change from boarders to day-scholars. Only a few schools out of the 348 schools have managed to comply with the safety protocols they were required to meet.
