The results of an investigation launched by the Ministry of Defence has revealed that the late Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla’s helicopter experienced an engine malfunction before crashing. The report released Friday indicates that the Huey helicopter operated by the Kenya Air Force suffered a critical engine failure shortly after take-off from West Pokot leading to the fatal crash that killed General Ogolla and nine other KDF personnel.
