Stakeholders in the children welfare space are urging the government to develop stronger policies and financial frameworks to shield children from the devastating aftermath of climate-related tragedies. During the 3rd Conference on Climate Change and Child Protection in Nairobi, stakeholders expressed concern that Kenya continues to lag in protection, emergency evacuation and psychosocial support for children affected by disasters.
