Tonight, as the country joins Christian faithful worldwide in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, tragedy struck on the eve of Christmas Day in Tana River County where four children tragically drowned while swimming on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, in Uasin Gishu County, police have launched investigations into the drowning of a 27-year-old man in a swimming pool.
