The Union of Kenya Civil Servants (UKCS) and the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) have issued a two-week notice for countrywide protests if challenges patients are facing under the Social Health Insurance Fund are not addressed. They lamented that despite deduction of their members’ salaries to the fund, they do not access treatment under the cover.
