The driver of one of the matatus captured on camera driving recklessly in Makuyu, the owner of the vehicle and the conductor have been arraigned. The driver of the matatu Peter Njoroge Wanjiku who had been in custody at the Makuyu Police Station was fined Ksh 120,000 and his license suspended for a year, while the owner Joel Mwangi and conductor Dennis Karanja were fined 20,000 and 12,000 respectively. Police are still searching for the driver of the other matatu.
