Cabinet Secretary for health Deborah Barasa has assured the public of seamless health services despite an executive order to suspend all US foreign financial assistance for 90 days by the US President Donald Trump. The CS said the ministry has mapped out all United States Agency for International Development USAID programs in the country and engaged the national treasury to ensure continuity. Speaking during a visit to assess services at the Nyahururu County referral hospital ,Barasa emphasized the need for sustainable domestic financing in the face of reduced foreign funding. On his part, Laikipia Governor Joshua Irungu commended the National Government for its commitment towards ensuring access to affordable health services for all Kenyans.
