Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi is now a free man after he was left off the hook over the fake fertilizer scandal. A report tabled in the National Assembly by Naomi Waqo led 11 member select committee exonerated the Cabinet Secretary from any wrong doing in relation to the fake fertilizer scandal. Linturi had been accused of gross misconduct and violating the constitution following alleged sale and distribution of fake fertilizer to farmers.
